Right now, our speakers are fine-tuning their slides, practicing their timing, and warming up their vocal cords to make sure they’re ready for the next round of Ignite Liverpool.

Get ready to celebrate people from all backgrounds as they share their passions, their projects, and sometimes even their quirky habits…

Your speakers in no particular order……

Speaker: Phil Watson Talk Title:The difference we make. 20 stories all showing the positive difference a foster carer can make.

Speaker: Laura Ferries Talk Title:Why Emotional Abuse and Covert Control in Relationships Needs to be Better Understood and Educated

Speaker: Aaron Barnes Talk Title: Secrets, Scams, and Digital Clues: Life as an Online Investigator

Speaker: Satya Morarji Talk Title: Something Else: A new way to breathe life back into our high streets and tackle loneliness?

The conversation of “how do we save our high streets?” often gets mixed up with the conversation of “”how do we save retail?””. These are two different questions, and we focus so much on “”fixing retail”” that we forget what high streets are all about: A space where the community can come together and connect. In this speech, I’m going to talk about the power of a new type of Third Place which I can only describe as being “”Something Else”” and how it might just be the solution we need to fill empty retail spaces, tackle loneliness and fight back against the divisive nature of digital media by creating an environment where dialogue, connection, respect and understanding prevail.

Speaker: Paul F Talk Title: “My New Love”

Speaker: Pip Drake Talk Title: Chaos Ctrl+D: Finding Focus in a Chaotic World.

Speaker:  Eric Simpson Talk Title: The Art of Risk: Making Bold Moves Without Breaking

This talk is about transforming big dreams into bold actions by reframing risk and embracing small, intentional steps. I’ll share personal stories of taking leaps—from moving halfway around the world to creating jobs that didn’t exist—and inspire the audience to overcome fear, self-doubt, and hesitation. Through relatable examples and a simple framework, I’ll show how risk, when approached courageously, can lead to profound personal growth and fulfillment.

Speaker: Francisco Carrasco Talk Title: Rhythms of reconciliation- in place of War!

Speaker: Cath Holland Talk Title: Elvis’ Christmas Album

Speaker: Tom Williamson Talk Title: We’re still waiting on the title but we are assured it will be something to do with Tom’s recent appearance on ITV’s The Chase.

As you can tell it is going to be a Christmas Bumper packed out night.

We’re always looking for speakers so if you haven’t submitted in time for this session then we will move you to our next event in the New Year.
