We are looking for volunteers to help us deliver our quarterly ground breaking events that share the wealth of knowledge and creativity in the city.
As a handful of volunteers ourselves, we recognise that we could do with more help and assistance with organising this Liverpool branch of this fantastic global event. As the event has grown and our standards have gotten higher with realised that without assistance from the wider community our high levels of production are going to falter. So we Need You
Ignite is an exciting format, that inspires a global community but it needs your help.
We’d especially like to hear from students looking to gain some experience and help you raise their profile in Liverpool.
Video and Media
Every time we go Live with a new event we need to produce 10-15 branded and enlightening videos that our community of speakers can use to raise the profile of their passion or talk subject. And we could do with hep and assistance with Editing these videos. So if you are looking to gain some experience or need to get involved in community projects for your portfolio then this could be ideal. If your a media students you could help us with interviews, our audience has a lot to say and we would love to be able to capture their feedback, before and after. So if your up for interviewing then this is for you.
Event organisers.
Gathering talks form 20 different speakers, ensuring they all comply with our formatting is no easy task – just liaising with the speakers can be 80 individual emails – not to put you off but if your interested in an career in event organising then this is one for you. And ensuring that the event is ticking along nicely on the night is vital to keep the audience watching online and in the room.
Marketing and PR.
Sitting hand in hand with the events organisers, the marketing and PR around Ignite needs to be concise and accurate so that we can get our message out to as many people as possible about the range of benefits that taking part in Ignite can give. From posters to PR, from email to twitter we need an extra helping hand to help us promote this event further.
